Lagoon Seasons
Not the best start for extremely beautiful jpgs with late winter bare in the forest, but a glowing example of early May's redbud-lined banks every year. As explained elsewhere, the next photo exemplifies the pollenized lagoon which looks rather nasty, like slimy algae, but it is not! We include it here so the new owners are not dismayed unbeknownst when Spring's bounty contributes to the plush foliage and flora year after year with a variety of pollinating species. As noted elsewhere, it looks rather unappealing if not scrutinized for its pollen and 3-leaf clover type seedlings shown elsewhere, but to our preference, deters visitors to this private paradise. This jpg, however, is also a good example of how the lagoon flows around Lagoon Island like a moat, where it then flows out into Clear Lake. A summer jpg of our favorite view, then summer at the lagoon dock showing profuse lilies in the south passage, and know that this dock is on our 'to refurbish' list and will be completed at some point. Some say the lagoon is an average of 10' - 12' deep, with fallen trees that have been cut through by our canoeing neighbors, so it is now again passable by boat. A peek out to Clear Lake showing dense cover for privacy, then out to Lake Anne where our favorite leaning tree has held for over 50 years that we know of. Next, a close up of just one summer bouquet of many starting with bright gold marsh marigolds in early Spring. A stunning, illusory October 2004 jpg captures the mystical, magical energetics that are most evident for those who have eyes to see and sense-ability to feel. Winding up with a beautifully-colored fall at the mouth of the lagoon and a Thanksgiving 2004 very rare snowfall these days, having had little to none for the past several years.
