Fisherman's Paradise: Ancient creatures in size and stature too wise for hook or net the likes of which divers touted never to dive here again, and have not! The Owners once saw something so huge as thought to be a submerged telephone pole and never saw either end as it slowly meandered away under our boat. Naturally, but hopefully not limited to, the availability of fishing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, ice skating, biking, hiking, and the usual year-round playtime in this hushed setting with full access to the roar of prestigious Clear Lake also called the Riviera of Indiana, this is, the Crown Jewel in what the Clear Lake Nature Conservancy is calling the Emerald Necklace around Clear Lake, the only green ribbon left in the area, at the headwaters of the Gold Coast. The jpgs below show the kids enjoying solace communion together and the thrill of the big catch! PLEASE don't tell anyone or we'll be inundated with intruders hurting [or worse] our fish! She released this catch in reverence of the spawning preserve we are. Having become friends with all flora and fauna @ Tarajories as elsewhere, The Owners don't fish anymore at all and frown heavily on those who do. Never seen the likes of toxic lawn applications nor the need for pesticides save a few seasonal ants, spiders, and the usual forest mice managed with non-toxic traps from AAEM, this MCS-safe property has been adamantly kept in its natural, pristine condition with hopes of future owners in accord. Click the jpg below for a bird's eye view of the property where fire flies Danse and glow worms sparkle the lawn each night thru frost every year and will continue if no toxic lawn applications are applied. With maybe, maybe a few mosquitos these days as more fully reiterated elsewhere, deadly sprays are totally unnecessary. 7-23-05 evening watering found a few mosquitos after a few days of rain. We'll keep you posted, howevever, generally speaking we have very few considering.
