Talkin' Turkey 2006

As If They'd Ever Left...

Enjoy a year-round parade of Wild Turkey. Usually, but not always, heading south in the morning, back north in the evening with intermittent dual tours throughout the day. Occasional window peepers, not shown this round, also sometimes serve as an early morning alarm clock at the bedroom window. Shoo! An early February dusting of snow also shows a spiraling anomaly evidencing powerful earth energies, otherwise also known as planetary energetics or 'subtle energies' described elsewhere, in its usual veiled presence, just visible in the dusting, this just off the south sliding glass door. And, yes, they do fly! High! Sometimes even roosting in the wee branches of our ancient 100 foot oaks, with this just a mere hop over the lagoon and on to the Ceremonial Hill proper for the big Spring Powwow. Creating this webpage @ 8:20 p.m. EDT 4-4-06 finds The Triplets and Mom playfully forraging out the front bay window, also known as The Bridge, with Turkey having gone before, no photos taken. Certainly someone would enjoy protecting and enjoying our friends and family as we've done these past 30 years.

No April Fools this first, more ham than turkey, prancing Toms strut their stuff! Hens take it all in stride while every angle's posed to perfection. Notice the rainow of color on the close-ups with equally shimmering feathers opalized in sunlight not so evident on these rainy-day jpgs, copyright 4-1-2006 The Arborist.
